TRC Mathematical Modelling

Since 1986 TRC Mathematical Modelling has been devoted to solving applied research problems involving modelling, measurement and management.

Since our inception we have specialised in the design and analysis of telecommunications systems and networks.

Originally known as the Teletraffic Research Centre, in 2001 we became TRC Mathematical Modelling to reflect the importance of applying mathematical modelling to industrial problems, especially in the areas of operations research and  statistical analysis.

The success of TRC Mathematical Modelling is reflected by the implementation of our research and development in real world applications and in winning competitive research grant funding. This success is enabled by our mix of international industry experience and outstanding research capability.

We are committed to the pursuit of academic excellence, with particular emphasis on Applied Mathematics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Computer Science. This pursuit takes the form of conducting undergraduate teaching, supervision of postgraduate students and collaborative research.

We also run short courses on specialist topics, specifically designed to strengthen the skills of employees in high-tech industries.

TRC Mathematical Modelling was proud to organise the Australasian Telecommunications Networks and Applications Conference 2008. For details on ATNAC 2008, including copies of the plenary presentations, please go to www.trc.adelaide.edu.au/ATNAC2008.
